My Mom and I went shopping the other day.  We were looking for new clothes and decided to look at Target first.  Of course this was the most obvious place to start because they have a Starbucks:)  Anyway, I found a few things that I liked, but nothing that I was thrilled over.  However, I thought that I was probably getting a good deal.

We decided to look at some of the department stores that evening, but I knew that those stores would be more expensive.  What an awesome surprise when we went to JC Penny’s and found that they were having a huge sale.  The starting prices would have been more than my budget would have allowed, but the sale price was right on target.  I not only got a cheaper price on the same type things that I bought at Target, but I got better quality as well.  The best part was, some of the items we ran under the barcode scanner were cheaper than what the signs said.

From now on I will always check the department store sales before buying from the discount stores when it comes to clothing.
